How to Install Orbi Router Setup via Orbi App?

In order to setup Orbi Wifi router, first, you have to login into the orbilogin.com or orbilogin.net. You can also do it by launching the Orbi application, and for that, you have to make a NETGEAR account. The NETGEAR account allows the user to register the NETGEAR products, post to the NETGEAR community, get product offers, and receive email support. 

 

 

  • Once you have logged in, click on get started and enable scan and camera. 

  • Scan the QR code on the Orbi router and click on continue in order to connect Orbi Wifi router. 

  • Choose the product number of the Orbi satellites in the system and then tap on continue. 

  • Restart the modem, locate it and click on continue. 

  • Unplug the modem and click on continue. 

  • Plug the modem back and wait for the LEDs to stabilize, then click on continue. 

 

Connect the Orbi Wifi system:

 

  • Connect the yellow router of your Orbi router to the Ethernet port of the modem using an Ethernet cable. 

  • Plug the Orbi router into the electrical power socket. 

  • Now, wait for the Orbi router to turn on. 

  • The ring of the Orbi router will blink white during the start-up and later becomes solid white. This will take up to five minutes to get completed. 

  • Plug the Orbi satellites into the electrical outlets in the same room where you have kept the Orbi router. 

 

Return to the app and click on continue

 

  • A progress bar will be there when the Orbi router is starting up. 

  • Connect the Orbi router’s Wifi and open the Wifi settings on the device you are using. 

  • Connect the default Wifi SSID of the Orbi which is found on the Orbi router’s label. 

  • After the mobile device successfully connected with the Orbi router’s SSID, return to the Orbi application and then click on continue. 

  • Tap on continue to open the personalize settings of the page, and then on next to open the create Wifi network page. 

  • You have the credentials to connect the devices with the Orbi Wifi network.
